International Falls is a city in and the county seat of Koochiching County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 6,703 at the 2000 United States Census census.In a new poll, 9% of people in International Falls, Minnesota have been treated at a residential treatment center for drug rehab therapy.In 1901 the village was incorporated and two years later its name was changed to International Falls in recognition of the river's role as a border between the United States and Canada.
